Frequently Asked Questions:
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a model that allows customers to purchase a farm "share" before the growing season begins.
We use the CSA model because we love to showcase what we are growing throughout the summer, and it provides a cash flow at the beginning of the season, allowing us to focus on land stewardship and the production of high-quality produce.
How does it work?
A CSA is a veggie subscription box that is picked up each week. A pre-paid gift that you give yourself (or someone else). Sign up by emailing westbeachfarm@gmail.com with the subject CSA, including your name and contact information.
You can pay by check or cash at our farm stand or Venmo @westbeachfarmer (Hailey Averna).
Sign-up is not complete until payment has been received. CSA members will pick up their boxes of vegetables at our farm. The CSA will last for 18 weeks.
How much does it cost?
The price for a share is $700. This comes out to just $38 a week (what a deal). You can pay by check or cash at our farm-stand or Venmo @westbeachfarmer (Hailey Averna). Payment plans are available.
